Mojo

"I will be stronger than my sadness.”

I've decided it's time to stop counting days. I started Nutrisystem on January 4, 2019 and I remain committed to the program. I reached my goal weight on July 23, 2021. After taking a break from exercise to focus on work I gained a bit of weight back. On December 28, 2021 I started working on getting back to my goal weight. The next milestone in this paragraph will be the day I get back to 150 or less pounds. I've also started a new blog since I feel like the journey I started back in 2019 is over and I'm transitioning to my new life. Right now I'm trying to get my mojo back !!

Sigh. With my Disney trip over it's back to my boring life in the frozen North. Today was pretty much a return to my normal schedule. Breakfast was my favorite waffles with sugar free syrup and a yogurt. Morning snack .. well, missed that. Lunch was a pepperoni pizza melt and a chef salad. Afternoon snack .. well, I missed that too ! Dinner was a meatloaf sandwich and roasted veggies. Evening snack was a chocolate cupcake.

I got about 58 minutes in on the treadmill today so the week is off to a good start. I'm doing the Mexico "Road To Recovery" series with iFit trainer Tommy Rivs so it's a nice easy pace. My goal is to get the Total Gym back in the rotation this weekend.

Going on vacation is great but it's so depressing when you come home and realize the party is over ! My life is SO boring and I feel so out of sorts ! It doesn't help that it's the dead of winter and I can't stand the cold. I just can't function when temps are in the teens and single digits. I just want to curl up in a blanket and stay there. Spring and warmer weather cannot get here fast enough ! In an effort to cut down on the amount of coffee I drink I've started having a cup of tea before bed. It warms me up and doesn't seem to keep me awake the way coffee did, so it's been a good change ! On that note I AM going to curl up in a blanket and stay there .. at least until morning .. lol !
